Lately, i’ve been stuck on this Banksy hype. Been lookin’ all over town for his pieces. Very respectable/creative/street artist. I’ve wanted to watch the Banksy Film, “Exit Through the Gift Shop” since it’s debut. After hearing that Banksy was in SF to bomb up some work, i had to go peep out the real thing. The pictures were a tease. Got to see almost all of them except for the one in the Mission, across the Benny Gold store (hit up his store… great artist; brilliant man: 3171 21st Street San Francisco, CA 94110). So I hit up to Mission to check it out, and what do i see? a big blob of fresh white paint over it! WTF! People do it all the time, but DAMN! let a brotha see it first. Hadn’t been barely a month. Hope he blesses this city again sometime with some of his extraordinary work. Anyways, check out his pieces all over SF-LA-UK..etc.
